Two Orange/Yellow Colored Lights Were Spotted In The Sky Flying Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  January 1, 2013
Time:  12:20 a.m.

Hello Brian, I came across your blogging websites on unidentified flying objects in Ontario, and wanted to email you about bright orange lights I saw on Tuesday January 1st 2013 at about 00:20 a.m. flying above my neighborhood in Waterloo, Ontario.

I will describe the events in great detail so you may perhaps arrive to some conclusion of these abnormal orange lights.

Firstly, I was walking over to my friend's house to celebrate the New Years, the sky was fairly clear with few clouds when suddenly I saw two orange/yellow circular lights flying lower than say a commercial airplane would.

These orange/yellow lights were moving pretty quickly through the sky and I am certain these lights could not have been some sort of plane, spotlight, flare, or "shooting star" as these lights were moving separately for about 2-4 minutes and then slowly vanished.

Furthermore, these orange/yellow lights did not make any sound whatsoever as they travelled through the sky.

Interestingly there were no stars in the sky that night and as I got closer to my friends house I could see orange/yellow lights again in the distance yet they were stationary as if they were stars themselves.

Perhaps these orange/yellow-like stars could have been the same lights I saw previously. I believe I was the only one in my neighborhood to witness this strange event.

What could these lights be Brian? Could they be part of the air force, a celestial phenomenon, civilian experiment or life outside of Earth? Reading your Vike Factor 2 blog many people throughout the United States and Canada saw orange lights before or after the New Years.

Please if you have any further questions or any conclusions do not hesitate to email me back. I would look forward to hearing from you.

One Orange Fiery Light Flew Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  September 10, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Hello Brian, my friend and I saw 1 orange, fiery light flying southeast over Waterloo for about 30 seconds. It quickly faded into nothing.

We were curious if anyone else has seen anything like this, my friend has also seen 3 lights of the same colour in the summer flying quickly in a line west also in Waterloo.
Do you have any information on these phenomena?

Orange Lights Spotted Flying Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  September 9, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Hi, my name is (name removed). Last night, September 9, 2012, I saw a lot of orange lights in the sky over Waterloo, Ontario. I would say that there were about 5000 of them, maybe more.

They were all going in the same direction, it lasted about 10 minutes. It was not on the news and I guess no one else seen it. I told people at work about and they think I'm nuts.

I really don't think that they are Chinese lanterns, there was too many of them.

18 To 22 Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over North Waterloo Ontario

Date:  September 9, 2012
Time:  10:55 p.m.

Good day how are you today? I am writing you about orange glowing UFOs last night September 9, 2012 I am in North Waterloo ON I was getting ready for bed at 22:55 I noticed a orange craft coming over the northwest horizon which did not catch me as odd, but 20 some seconds later another was following it.

I called for my girlfriend to see, her mind being closed to any strange possibility, of course her first reaction air plane. I thought they were too close to be flying together and I also thought they were travelling really fast.

She went on about getting ready for bed I continued to watch then both vanished. After about a minute I was coming back in from the balcony my mind was racing through all the things I may have just seen, and another one came over from the same part of the horizon followed by 2 more these ones travelling much faster with same approximate course as the first one all three vanished in about the same spot.

My girlfriend returned now wondering what we were seeing. Now out of seeing about 18-22 of these orange craft the strangest, was a craft comes over the horizon followed by another one both travelling 4 times faster than any of the commercial airplanes, in sight that had the common flashing lights on them.

So I have a good comparison for speed there may have been three airplanes travel over during the orange UFOs travelling over. So anyways this is maybe the 10th one at this point comes over the horizon followed by another one and the one that was behind picked up speed and flew past the other one from where I was if you put your fingers out to measure distance there would have been 2 inches between the UFOs.

Within a couple of seconds the one that had been behind, was past the first one by 2 inches. I believe it to have been travelling at least double the other UFOs speed about 8x faster than the commercial planes in the sky.

All of the orange objects vanished in the same area in the sky. I did not see any more after 23:15. I also noticed that the colour of the UFOs were the same as the street lights, so I concluded that it was light refracting from whatever craft I was seeing where the UFOs seemed to be vanishing.

I was only able to see one have a slight glow after the others had vanished from my sight I am not just an occasional sky watcher these were not satellites, meteors, commercial airplanes. I am surprised there is nothing on the net yet about people seeing these last night.

Orange Colored Lights In The Sky Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  April 12, 2012
Time:  9:45 p.m.

Hello, this is a response to both you are more specifically the more recent April 12th, 2012 9:45 p.m. post.

I was walking home from school on Lester Street in Waterloo, and witnessed 3rd orange orb like things. They were all heading in the same direction.

I managed to get a very low quality picture of one of the orbs, the picture was taken at 9:49 p.m.

They could not be planes or helicopter because they sequentially vanished in roughly the same spot in the sky (I think).

They were heading south west I believe.

If you could please put me in contact with the other poster from Waterloo, I'd love to discuss what we witnessed.

Bright Glowing Orange Colored Lights Spotted In The Sky Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  April 12, 2012
Time:  Approx: 9:45 p.m.

I saw the same thing from Lester Street and I managed to get a low quality photograph of one of the Orbs. My only non UFO guess as they could have been flares dropped from a plane.

What do you think?

Bright Orange Glowing Lights/Objects In The Sky Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  April 12, 2012
Time:  9:45 p.m.

Hello, this is a response to the UFO sighting over Waterloo, Ontario December 24, 2011. I saw exactly what you described yesterday, April 12th at 9:45 p.m. I was walking down Albert Street towards my house, when from over top of the trees and houses came this large, orange glowing orb.

At first I thought an airplane, but it was too large. I thought it may be an meteor, but there was no tail. About 3 seconds after the first orange sphere appeared, a second one appeared of the same size and heading in the same direction.

Another 3 seconds later, a third sphere appeared, again, of the same size and heading in the same direction. At some point that I was not able to see, the three orbs split off and went into different directions.

I was only able to see where two went to.

The one orb headed south, the opposite direction from where I was standing, blinked a few times and disappeared. The second orb I was able to see started to head in a northern direction and continued to get smaller and smaller, until it was the size of a small star. At this point, I had stopped watching.

Did you happen to witness this or know of anyone else who may have seen it? Thanks.

5 Orange Lights Flew Over Waterloo Ontario

Date:  December 24, 2011
Time:  9:15 p.m.

I saw 5 orange lights over Waterloo Ontario Dec/24/11 at 9:15 p.m. They were heading south to north and then turned to the east towards Guelph. I was close enough to see that they were just orange pulsing lights with no structure to them.

Both my wife and I saw them. The first four lights were approximately 300 yards apart and then the fifth light came approximately 1 minute later. They all followed the exact same path.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Number of witnesses: 1

Only in view for about 2-3 seconds before it passed behind an apartment building and out of sight. Too large to be a shooting star and had no accompanying tail. No aircraft or helicopter noise, and no navigation lights. Can't come up with an explanation for it.
